- How does dispensary mystery shopping work?
- You book online and choose what to focus on, for example ID checks or responsible-use education. We assign a vetted local shopper who is 19 or older. They visit anonymously, shop like a regular customer and send a scored report with photos.
- Is this a compliance inspection?
- No. It is a customer’s view of what happened on one visit: whether they were ID-checked, what the budtender said, and how the store looked. It helps you spot gaps in training. It is not a regulatory inspection and does not replace your provincial regulator’s requirements.
- Does the shopper have to buy something?
- Only if you want them to. You can ask for a purchase, with a spending budget you set, so the shopper goes through checkout and the packaging, or keep it to a consultation. Purchases are reimbursed up to the budget, and anything unspent is refunded to you after the report is delivered.
- Can the shopper take photos inside the store?
- Only what a customer reasonably can. Besides the storefront, the shopper photographs the receipt or the compliance signage, and the exit bag or a display case, whichever the store allows.
- How much does a dispensary mystery shop cost?
- At standard prices, a single visit is $149, three visits are $399.99 and six visits are $719, plus tax. Any purchase comes from the spending budget you set.
